About EC East Africa
Energy Crossroads East Africa is part of the EC Global. Currently the participating countries include Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi. The chapters are witnessing a growing movement of youth from various universities in the region and is actively working together with Energy Crossroads Global for a common cause. Each of the five countries involved are represented by two people who were democratically elected during the East African Energy Crossroads Regional summit that took place on 2nd-3rd March 2009 at Makerere University in Kampala. The theme of the summit was "Energy and Climate Change; The East African perspectives", the Danish Embassy in Uganda proudly supported this Summit.

The Chapter is vigorously mobilizing fellow African youth to secure better representation at UN Climate Summit COP15 in Denmark and beyond.
